Canada Consul General Visit

Consul General Visit

CFO Adam Mikols, Consul General Phyllis Yaffe, Company President Dean S. Penman

Seal & Design hosted a visit from Phyllis Yaffe, Canadian Consul General in New York.  Company President, Dean S. Penman and CFO, Adam Mikols met with Ms. Yaffe and gave her a tour of our facility. Ms. Yaffe spoke to us about NAFTA and the importance of that agreement to Seal & Design’s business.

Seal & Design Able Division, located in Toronto, Ontario, is our Canadian Division’s headquarters. Currently, NAFTA allows our US Divisions (Clarence & Syracuse) and Canada Division to conduct business smoothly and economically. This allows Seal & design to pass along cost saving benefits to both our US and Canadian customers.

We discussed NAFTA’s role in cross-border business and Ms. Yaffe learned how Seal & Design takes advantage of the free trade agreement.

p-yaffeMs. Yaffe has been Canada’s Consul General in New York since July 2016.  She has had a distinguished career in both the private and not-for-profit sectors.

We appreciate her valuable time and feedback and thank her for touring our facility.
